  • Trends that should end

Throughout the years, some trends have been brought back into your daily wardrobe (i.e. leggings, chunky jewelry, mod print, etc). When you flip through any fashion magazine, there lie the ‘Do's’ and ‘Don’t's' of trends. Below are just some of the ‘don’t's.’ Not even the A- or D-listers of Hollywood can pull these off.
  • Inspiring design

The visual and textual appeal created through the collaboration of designer Daniel Vosovic and photographer Michael Turek is apparent on every page of "Fashion Inside Out: Daniel V’s Guide to How Style Happens from Inspiration to Runway & Beyond." From the first touch of the soft, felt cover to the stylistically, scripted signature on the last page, the reader experiences inspiring images through form, color and language. Vosovic’s narration is supported by Turek’s visual story, as they explain how a garment moves through the design process from the moment of inspiration to the hands of the consumer.
  • Fashion Feud

The Scion-sponsored Fashion Feud took place on Monday, May 18, at the Grog Shop in Coventry. Competing for the grand prize of $400 were designers Valerie Mayen and Jillian Young.

Top designer styles were well displayed at this year’s Glitz & Blitz event, held on Friday, May 15, at The Galleria at Erieview. The event was presented by Westside Jaguar-Land Rover and Montrose Volvo of Cleveland.
  • The essentials to every girl's wardrobe

A motto to live by: Classic is chic and chic is classic! How does one go about creating a wardrobe that can last a lifetime? Picture Audrey Hepburn’s character, Holly Golightly, strolling the New York City streets in the movie "Breakfast at Tiffany’s." She gracefully wears a simple white button up, a fitted trench coat, that little black dress, fabulous shoes and big sunglasses. To me she is an icon, and she illustrates a fabulous wardrobe that every woman should have.
