Compassion From Fashion was held on Saturday, Nov. 17, at Beachwood Place, benefiting The Gathering Place and UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital.
A fashion show was the focus of the event, and while event partici.pants waited for the show to begin, they could nosh on food stations set up by Maggiano's and shop with special discounts at various mall stores.
The fashion show was presented by Diet Pepsi and was hosted by Katherine Boyd and Allan Fee from Fee's Kompany on Q104.
The models in the show were various local media celebrities, Lake Erie Monsters players, UH Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital families, The Gathering Place cancer survivors, and professinoal models from Docherty Talent Modeling Agency. Rock City Dance kept the crowd entertained in between runway presentations.
By the end of the evening, more than $11,000 had been raised for the spotlight charities.
