However House Museum presents Remembering Yesterday's Bride, presented by Laura Lowe of Lost in the Past. Laura will dress a lovely live model for her wedding circa 1906 and show an antique Edwardian wedding gown fit for a princess from her personal collection; a divine hand-embroidered confection dripping with lace, sequins, ruffles, a jeweled belt, and metallic trim.
Enjoy a delicious luncheon and bid on great raffle baskets too! All to benefit Hower House Museum. Your ticket also includes a tour of the Hower House, in Akron, Ohio. The current exhibit, through October 13, 2018 is Bridal Fashions through the Decades: 1880 – 1960s.
