Local designer Jonathan Anderson brought some Cleveland style to New York Fashion Week earlier this month. Anderson showed his Anderson Couture collection at the NYFW Fashion Takeover event.
It all started when the modeling coach of Anderson's daughter put him in touch with one of the show's producers. Anderson submitted his work for consideration, and the producer invited him to showcase his work at the NYFW Fashion Takeover event.
The best parts of participating in the event, according to Anderson? First, seeing his daughter launch her runway modeling journey in New York City wearing his creations. And second, showcasing his collection on a diverse group of models.
"I loved it," he said. "It was a dream come true."
