Ursuline students showcase their work

Ursuline College fashion show, Cleveland, Ohio

Fashion students at Ursuline College came together to produce the school's annual fashion show, Runway '19, on April 28, 2019.

Highlights of the classwork shown included shaggy jackets, modern fashion pieces and dresses made from coffee filters.

"You'll never be able to look at coffee filters the same," said guest commentator Anna Schumm, who graduated from Ursuline in 2018.

Local designer Anne L. Lukas also showed her line, Anne of Coventry, during the show. Pieces from Ursuline's historic collection were sent down the runway as well, highlighting the college's apparel from the 1960s, 1970s and more.

Three graduating Ursuline seniors showed their work. John Porter showed his line, Stepping Into Spring, marked by bright, happy colors. Najae Miller's line, Meraki Millz, featured children's outfits and menswear. Heavenly, the line by Natalie English, showed off many designs, all in white.
