Local boutique offers style for all body types

Fetch & Co, boutique, Cleveland, Ohio

Abbey and Julia are two Clevelanders on a mission: to help other women feel beautiful and comfortable. The duo opened their Lakewood boutique, Fetch & Co, when they saw an opportunity in the local retail scene for a boutique that caters to all body types. The busy entrepreneurs were kind enough to answer some questions for us about opening their store, helping customers find the perfect products and starting a business in Northeast Ohio. See what they had to say:

What made you decide to open Fetch & Co?

We both absolutely love fashion, but saw that there was a huge miss in boutique fashion being accessible to all body types. We wanted to fill that gap and be a place where everyone was welcomed and could find on-trend clothing that made them look and feel beautiful.

How do you decide what products to offer?

It's been an evolving decision, which lead to us to eventually finding our Fetch & Co brand. We are on-trend, comfortable clothing that can go from day to night. We have something for every occasion, for every type of woman, no matter what their age or body type.

What advice do you give your customers in terms of finding the right product for them?

One of our favorite things to do is to style clients. We love when people step out of their box a little and take our suggestions, but at the end of the day, we want you to be comfortable. If you're not comfortable wearing something, it will show and will not leave you feeling confident. We always want our Fetch girls to look and feel amazing.

What advice would you give to someone starting a fashion-related business in Cleveland?

From the get go, you need to establish your customer and your brand. Know that those things may change, but it will help you stay on track and ensure that you're reaching the right people.

What is the best piece of style advice you've ever received?

Buy clothing based on how it looks and feel on you, not by the size on the tag. Women are so afraid of buying something that's not "their size" but you'd be surprised how much better you'll look when you go with the size that you feel the best in.
