The cold has arrived in Ohio, and based on the local weather reports, it's not going anywhere anytime soon. But just because we're facing freezing temperatures doesn't mean we have to lose our sense of style. We've rounded up some tips for staying stylish, despite the cold.
1. Layering is key. Want to stay warm? Pile on the layers! It's easy to layer up, with plenty of cute options like button-up shirts, v-neck sweaters, cardigans, scarves and more. The final look will be put-together - not like you're just trying to survive the tundra-like weather!
2. Add a pop of color. Red is in this year! But if even red isn't your hue, adding even a little bit of brightness to your ensemble will give your outfit a boost. We tend to dress in darker colors - blacks, grays, browns - when the weather gets colder; feel free to liven it up a bit!
3. Don't be afraid to break the rules. Feel like wearing white in the winter, even if tradition frowns upon it? Do it anyway! Want to add a bit of floral accent to your bundled-up look, even though we're far from spring? Do it! Don't worry about the traditional rules for dressing in the winter - if you like how it looks (and if it helps keep you warm), wear it!
