There have been plenty of reasons to celebrate at Common Threads, the Fairview Park thrift store. Not only has it been named Cleveland's best thrift store in a Scene Magazine reader poll; it will also be celebrating its one-year anniversary on June 24.
“From the beginning, our goal was to give people a different kind of thrift store experience and Cleveland has responded,” said store director Jeff Stredney in a statement. “We believe in this city and its people and we’re delighted that local residents are finding Common Threads an engaging and community-minded place to shop and donate.”
To celebrate its Scene accolades and its first anniversary, Common Threads will offer special discounts the weekend of June 23-25. The store will have free cupcakes for shoppers as well as a $5 instant cash bonus for the first 50 shoppers on Saturday.
Common Threads is located at 22049 Lorain Road in Fairview Park.
