The 2011 APL Metromix Fashion Show was held on July 23 at The Hyatt Regency Cleveland Arcade. Students from Virginia Marti College of Art and Design showed off their skills on the runway, all for the great cause of supporting the Animal Protective League. Hair and makeup was provided by Charles Scott Salon and Spa.

On May 14, the first annual Form to Fashion event was held at Beachwood Place. Garments created by 20 designers from Ursuline College and Virginia Marti College of Art and Design were initially featured on the runway. From this group, seven contestants were chosen to compete in the Form to Fashion show.
