The Cleveland Women's Show 2010

By:

Two fashion shows were presented during the 2010 Cleveland Women's Show: Lodi Station Outlets' "Hop on the Train for Fall Fashions" and Westfield's "Fab Fashion Finds." Here's our rundown of both shows:

Hop on the Train for Fall Fashions

Lodi Station Outlets, a shopping center consisting of 60 outlet stores, presented "Hop on the Train for Fall Fashions" show.

Sweaters, jeans, leggings and many more items modeled were from GapPolo Ralph LaurenDress BarnEddie BauerLane Bryant and Rue 21, just to name a few of the fashion outlet stores.

Sweaters that are both cinched with a belt or long and unbuttoned are a must for the fall season. Leggings are still a go-to, especially jeggings (denim styled leggings).

Belts are a girl’s best friend in the accessory department. Purple is the must-have color this fall whether it’s a dress, shirt or sweater.

Rider-style boots and booties are the shoe of choice. The boots can be worn with skinny jeans, leggings, and dresses with tights.

This fall is all about casual chic and feeling comfortable in fashion. The possibilities are endless, and Lodi Station Outlets offers discounted fashion for the fall season. Remember that layering is key to keep warm and look fashionable.

Fab Fashion Finds

Westfield, which owns Great Northern Mall and SouthPark, presented Fab Fashion Finds.

Casual chic, business attire and classic black were modeled for the event to show different looks and where to shop to get those looks.

GapDress BarnCharlotte RusseRue 21 and Torrid are great places to stroll for casual chic items. The sweater options are abundant, accessories are fun and prices are right. Chunky sweaters belted are trendy paired with boots. A particularly hot item was a red trench from Cache

Business attire can be found at stores like ExpressThe LimitedH&M and New York & Company. Trousers can be mixed and matched with blazers, belted cardigans or a fresh button-up. Express’ Editor Trousers are a nice option because they come in a variety of colors.

Black is always in style, and the stores at Westfield offer great selections. Black can be worn in pants, dresses or city styled black shorts with black tights. The go-to has always been the perfect LBD, and an LBD from Cache was a standout on the runway.

Other fab finds that can be found at either Westfield Mall include:

  • Belts cinched at the waist of a sweater, jacket or dress
  • Dressed up minis in metallics or fringe
  • Colored tights
  • Monochromatic, especially black or camel, looks sleek and slimming
  • Mixed textures of lace, sequins, print or ruffles
