Slowly but surely, the weather is getting warmer, the sun is shining brighter and the days are getting longer. Spring is just around the corner, and while you are probably ready for it, is your wardrobe?
According to Fashion Group International, here are the trends to watch for this season:
- colors in saturated brights, glowing fluorescents and metallics.
- oversized, loose-fitting jackets and dresses.
- fabrics like poplin, denim and lace.
- 70s throwback pieces, like patent leather, fringe and distressed jeans.
- sailor-inspired stripes.
- combination sheer-and-opaque layered pieces.
- floral and animal prints, as well as color-blocking patterns.
- menswear-inspired button down shirts and shirt dresses.
