Dare 2 Care

Cleveland showed its support for the fight against teen bullying and suicide in the most fabulous way possible on May 1 at the Dare 2 Care event held at the Cuyahoga County Courthouse.

Presented by The Human Rights Campaign, the event featured musical and dance performances by Baldwin-Wallace musical theater students, Cleveland area high school students, the Green-Medcalf Movement Project and Benjamin El-Dalati. Featured speakers included nationally renowned poet and scholar George Bilgere, Berea High School student Mathew Gilbert and comedian Suzanne Westenhoefer. New York City drag queen Aggy Dune served as emcee.

The fashion runway show featured styles from Sanity, Brigade, You Two, Repertoire, Evie Lou, Lizzy & Jane, Kilgore Trout, Ticknors and Amy's Shoes.

The evening culminated with a performance of Lady Gaga's Born This Way by Boody, Palenstine's first professional drag queen.
