Charmingly original

Katie S. Marks designs her jewelry line with true charm and originality. Unique pieces are made using high quality materials including sterling silver, vermeil gold, pearls, Swarovski crystals and even vintage coins.

Age with style

I have first-handedly witnessed women who have committed fashion faux pas by trying to look like they were in their early 20s again… when they weren’t. Whether it was by squeezing into a pair of destructed purple skinny jeans or wearing a heart and star printed hoodie, it wasn’t pretty.

Oh baby!

The quaint area of downtown Chagrin Falls has incorporated a “little” modern twist, by introducing the Offspring boutique, which offers distinctive baby gifts and fashionable children’s apparel.

Fashion For A Cause

A West 6th Street parking lot was converted into the trendiest place to be in Cleveland on Friday night. The Fashion For A Cause outdoor fashion show was presented by Barley House and the Cleveland Professional 20/30 Club on Friday, July 31, 2009

A Cleveland treasure

Valerie Mayen has truly chased her dream of becoming a fashion designer, and has done everything in her power to grasp it. Today, her very own clothing line, Yellowcake, is sitting pretty in the palm of her hand, with endless possibilities. Fashion sparked as an interest to Mayen at a young age. Family income was minimal, and creating complete and different outfits from pieces and parts of Wal-Mart and Goodwill selections brought her many compliments from friends. She had an eye for the industry and the concept early on in life.

Made in the 216

The one-of-a-kind, creative Cleveland showcase Made in the 216 kicked off in style on Friday, June 26 at 4 p.m. sharp. The Gordon Square Arts District of Detroit Road filled quickly with eager and artsy supporters interested in checking out the extensive selection of products that were featured by local designers.

Unique boutique

Unveiled in Cleveland’s Gordon Square Arts District in November of 2007, the eclectic Room Service boutique also opened their door for local designers by presenting their product lines to the public. Store owner Danielle DeBoe is a strong supporter of our creative Cleveland businesses, and she features labels such as Wrath Arcane Menswear, Little Korboose and Small Screen Designs in her product selection. The list of locals goes on and on and is fluctuating with freshness.

Wear your pride on your t-shirt

“Spreading Cleveland pride, one t-shirt at a time” is the C.L.E. Clothing Co. slogan that speaks for itself. High school friends turned entrepreneurs Mike Kubinski and Jeff Rees were looking to fill a void when they started their t-shirt company, and that is what they did.
